About Kars4Kids

Kars4Kids funds educational, developmental, and recreational programs for Jewish youth and their families. We're a registered nonprofit Jewish organization who, together with Oorah, our sister charity, help thousands of children develop into productive members of the community. Our goal is to foster a generation of well-balanced, productive adults. Our means to accomplish this goal is to provide children and their families with a strong network of personal guidance and educational resources, individualized to their needs. What is the Kars4kids broker referral program?

Real estate brokers and salespeople facilitate the donation of listed properties to Kars4kids in exchange for a full real estate commission.

Why would a client donate a valuable property rather than sell it?

Many properties do not sell in a reasonable time frame. This may be due to market conditions, pricing challenges or poor physical conditions. Many owners will consider accepting a tax deduction for a quick painless transaction.

How does the referral program work?

If you have a property which is not selling give us a call. We can quickly tell you if it is a good candidate for donation. If your client agrees to transfer the property in exchange for a charitable tax deduction, Kars4kids will arrange for title and closing at no cost. After closing, the client will receive the charitable receipt and forms required for their tax return.

How much time does the process take?

Depending on title requirements, real estate donation can take a few weeks to a few months. Thanks to our streamlined process Kar4kids has closed real estate donations in as little as two weeks!

How can I be assured of receiving full commission?

We will pay the full commission listed on the sales contract with your client. It will be listed in the HUD statement of the closing documents, and will be disbursed by the title company upon closing. Kars4kids will sign a commission agreement should this be your office's recommendation.
